Featured Cards of the Month - Heritage Cards
Our featured cards for September is our "Heritage" cards. We participated in WorldFest 2006 and wanted to continue the Celebration of cultures that contribute to our society!

ZeVin Creations believes that you can celebrate a culture with all types of cards in various ways. You can show your appreciation of a particular culture with a card by:

1. Sending that special someone you know a greeting themed around their culture. Let's say you know someone who is an Hispanic American, you can show them how much they mean to you by having a card representing the Hispanic American concepts and values as well written in their specific language.

2. Expanding someones horizon by sending a non-standard type of card that represents a particular culture. Maybe you know someone that wants to learn more about the African American heritage. Why not send them an inspirational card that is centered around an African Proverb or interesting fact.

3. Increasing cultural awareness and appreciation in the world. Everyone can aide in the end of hatred and racism even with a card. Sending a card that represents another culture or cultures will encourage Diversity and eventually make us all "World Citizens".

Although there is a diverse group of cultures in our society nowdays, isn't it amazing that despite the culture a greeting card makes the same impact -- It shows someone that you care! With that in mind, just think of how one card can place a ripple in ending hatred and racism!

Please look at our newest "Heritage" cards and make a special purchase. Check back the entire month as we add more for we sold out at WorldFest! As always if you want a something special custom done, just let us know. Also check the blog throughout the month for we will mention other artists/businesses that encourage culture appreciation! Get big Blog Traffic

Getting big blog traffic by david hobson
A few years ago, I was browsing the internet and began to see more and more references to blogs and blogging. After a bit of additional investigation, I discovered exactly what a blog was and how to build one for myself. After some more research, I learned about ways to possibly profit from the creation and maintenance of a blog. Google Adsense, for instance, seemed to hold real possibility for revenue production.
It was an exciting idea. I could create and easily maintain a dynamic web site on the subject of my choice and make some money at the same time! I dove in headfirst. I enjoyed writing in the blog and tweaking with its layout. In time, I was sure, the blog would "take off" and earnings would start to compile. I was wrong.
I had everything: good content, a popular topic and well-placed advertising. Nothing was happening. The reason: few visitors. Even after adopting some of the frequently recommended methods of generating content, my blog was still only producing a few cents a day--on its best days!
I abandoned my blog. Over the next several months, I would occasionally return to my research on blogging and money making. I kept noticing articles about those making real money with blogs and Adsense. My first experience had been a failure, but I was beginning to learn why. I compiled my research, went through it carefully, and devised a plan of action for a new blog. Within thirty days of the blog's launch, I earned my first Adsense check. One month later, my check was for over four hundred dollars! Since then, I have added a few more blogs to my personal "network" and continue to post consistent earnings. What was the difference between my first failed experiment and my subsequent success? The content was not better. In fact, I think my original blog was probably a better read. The design was only marginally better. The difference was traffic. I had found a way to create blogs that attract visitors.
That system of traffic production has some great applications. Of course, it can make blogging profitable for those who use Adsense or other advertising tools. Just as importantly, it can create an audience. Most of us who write blogs do so in order to say something to others. A blog may be an online diary for some people, but even many of them want to share those thoughts with the world. I believe blogging can be fun, therapeutic, profitable and more. All it requires is having something to say, saying it the right way and helping people find the end result.
This ebook focuses primarily on helping people to find your blog and on convincing them to stop by to read what you have to offer. It outlines some powerful ways of creating blog traffic and should help any blog develop a readership. It is a guide to traffic generation. It does not discuss Adsense techniques or some other aspects of operating a profitable blog, so it should be of value to both those who are looking at blogging as an entrepreneurial pursuit and those who are more interested simply in sharing ideas with others. I hope you find it valuable and that you can find an audience for your blog. To learn more about this subject you can get the Complete ebook here http://www.hobsonschoiceebooks.org

5 Ways to Drive Traffic to your Blog

5 Ways to Drive Traffic to Your Blog without Using Search Engine by Keng Hui Tan
The ability to drive traffic to your blog without using search engine is the best safety net you can have. Search engines' algorithm changes every now and then, it is not easy to follow them. While on-page and off-page optimization is always important, you should also be equipped with skills to drive traffic without waiting for search engine. We will harness 5 underestimated powers to drive traffic to your blog. All can be done immediately and will bring you good amount of traffic.
1. Bookmark your pages using various Social Bookmarking Services. This is the first thing you have to do if you have not done so already. Signup with Social Bookmarking Services and bookmark every of your page. Do them slowly; do not attempt to submit all your pages in one day as you will annoy other users. Submit two to three of your pages everyday and track the traffic. Making your pages visible in Social Bookmarking Services usually brings immediate traffic within a few minutes after submitting. Do not forget to tag your keywords appropriately. Tagging allows other users to locate your page after your submission. Some of the popular Social Bookmarking Services are:
* Del.icio.us * Technorati * Digg.com * Furl.net * Spurl.net * Ma.gnolia.com
You may also consider using OnlyWire.com which allows you to add pages into many Bookmarking Services at once.
2. Write articles and submit them to article directories. This is the most popular technique used by bloggers to get their blog noticed widely. If you have been looking for inbound links, submitting articles to article directories will quickly build your inbound links. Organize your blog content, group some similar topics together and you have a good article to submit. Always submit only useful and helpful article. Some of the popular article directories are:
* Ezine Articles * Article City * Valuable Content * Isnare
Write only articles that will benefit readers. Give them some action points that they can start doing immediately. Your objective is to solve the readers' problem. Inspire them to take action rather than just read. Establish a boundary on how much you feel comfortable to share if you have only limited resources or your resources are guarded secrets. Remember to always add value to your readers and respect their time spent on reading your article. Make sure to include a link to your blog so that readers can follow for more information.
3. Master trackback and use it often. When you are reading another blogger's blog and found something interesting that you want to share with your readers, always send a trackback ping back to the blogger. Your trackback ping will be recognized and an excerpt of your post will be included in the blogger's comment. This allows readers to follow the conversation and finally land on your blog for more information. It will bring some unexpected visitors to your blog and can increase your loyal reader base. Always trackback only if the content of the original post were similar to the theme of your blog. You do not want readers to get disappointed after landing on your blog.
4. Participate and share insights in forums Participate actively in forums about your niche. Answer question appropriately in the forums. Provide quality content to the forums even if you feel the content is so original that you do not want to share. Sharing your insights helps to build your profile as an expert in your field. Forums are a big resource for traffic. Other than simply including your signature under each of your post, you can also write a few articles to answer most frequently asked questions in the forum. This will drive a huge amount of traffic to your site if you have done it with respect.
5. Content! Add value to your readers! Before you do all the four steps above, go back to your blog and think of some ways to make the readers stay. You are going to get good traffic by doing the steps above and you want the readers to stay for more. You do not want readers to come and forget about you. You want them to remember about you and return. Build more articles that are valuable to your readers. You may also consider writing article series. Encourage them to subscribe to your newsletter or RSS feeds. If you are giving value to your readers, you will notice your readers are always waiting for you to offer more information.
Getting traffic without the help of search engine can be some extra effort that you need to do constantly, however, it will increase your survivability in the competitive internet market space. The above 5 steps will build your readership and traffic even if there is no search engine. The snowball effect will build itself and you will get more and more traffic from the above sources which ultimately builds a safety net to your traffic, and most importantly, your revenue.

Wild WE Founder and President

As a woman in today's world, the word "multi-task" is a core part of your being. Whether you're a stay-at-home mom trying to run a small business or a fast-paced woman climbing the corporate ladder, life seems to dump a plethora of items on your plate. The question then becomes, how do you find time to socialize AND acquire the resources you need to live a happy, successful, and fulfilling life? That question is what led me to start Wild Women Entrepreneurs. I knew from years of event planning and networking that the two go hand in hand. We, as a society, generally do business with the people we know and trust. So, why not expand that circle? Each of us is on a personal journey through life to achieve our fullest potential. There is no reason why we cannot help one another do so and have FUN in the meantime! That's what life is ALL ABOUT! Wildly Yours, Ja-Naé Duane President/Founder

Here are some sources for the basic entrepreneur..

An excellent source and probably my favorite is Entrepreneur Magazine's website and this can be found at:

http://www.entrepreneur.com/

Another excellent website is the one by INC magazine:

http://www.inc.com

And believe it or not Master Card even has a website dedicated to small business and entrepreneurs:

Communication

Communication:
A topic that is so important in business and in everyday life but is so often taken for granted. We all need to brush up on our communication skills and pay close attention to what it is that we are saying and doing in our business. Our customers are the "life's blood" of our business and it is too often that because of MIScommunication that we lose a good customer.

Just the other day, I had a very similar situation happen to me. I was on the receiving end of a BAD deal. I thought that I could "trust" what I was being told by some people that will remain nameless. Well needless to say I got Screwed and I didn't even get kissed! Well this has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I am in a very good position to ruin their reputation......I haven't yet decided what I am going to do. I do know this, I will NO longer bust my ass for someone that is obviously only out for themselves and going to stab me in the back every chance that they get. This is a warning to all you trusting souls out there who think that just because someone says "you can trust me and we really care about you" , don't believe them until they have shown you that they can be trusted and they EARN your trust and DESERVE your trust!

This is case in point why it is crucial to develope good relationships with your customers and ALWAYS, ALWAYS do the right thing where your customers are concerned. I know that I have never treated anyone the way that I was treated the other day and now that I know exactly how it feels, I can honestly say that I NEVER will.

This is the Entrepreneur Lesson for today, hope everyone takes it to heart and I hope the people that treated me so poorly get to read this and feel like CRAP!

Need Help with Your Start UP?

A wonderful resource provided by the federal governement, and this is a wonderful place to start when doing research on whether or not you want to start a business. It is a free site and has a mulitude of sources and answers for the brand new entrepreneur and can point you into the right direction:

http://www.sba.gov

It has links to various programs provided by the government at a Federal level as well as at the individual State levels and can direct you to your own State office or even an office within your very own city.

100% FREE, No FEES, NO Cost at ALL !

Did you know that Walmart offers Samples on it's website? Well I didn't either until the other day when I was browsing around the internet and happened upon their website and found a page on their called the SAMPLES PAGE.....

This is quite incredilbe, you can request FREE SAMPLES of these products and they will ship them to you for FREE> and they will even pay for the shipping. Is this fantastic or what. I thought for sure that they would ask me to pay for the shipping at least but nope, they even paid for the shipping as well!

So I am sharing the information with you, so you too can get some free samples. And I have already received my first batch of samples through the mail, just so you know that they do come to you, and even in a timely manner. (around 2 weeks to be exact) Not bad considering most places take about 4-6 weeks even when you pay for something like the shipping!
Okay I have made you wait long enough, here is the link:
http://walmart.triaddigital.com/Free-Samples.aspx

Please share this with your friends and family but all I ask is this, when you share this info with them please refer them to my blog. And let them get the info from my blog, they may find some other helpful info here as well!
Thanks,
Julie

Business Opportunity With 60 Day Guarantee....

Could you use an extra $500-$1000 a week? You can make up to $1,500 plus, each week from the comfort of Your Own Home mailing out company circulars! Now this is what the company claims, not me personally......I am not personally endorsing this program nor am I saying that it is a bad one. I am merely showing you all of your options, there are thousands of these programs available but this one just happens to have a 60 day money back GUARANTEE with it. So really you don't have anything to lose by trying this one, if you don't like or you find out it really doesn't work like they say it does, you can send it back and get your money back in full.

I say give it a go if you are looking for something to do from home that doesn't require a lot of physical skill and time. And something that doesn't require a lot of initial investment! This is very inexpensive for everything that they are giving you and the bonus material that you receive is quite incredible as well. And the kicker is, even if you decide to return the program after the 60 days, you get to keep ALL the BONUS materials that they gave you! Now that is pretty cool.

This site also offers everyone who visits a FREE GIFT worth $147 just for visiting the site, so be sure and at least visit to get your FREE GIFT worth $147 today.
